CWA Local 9509 Workers Fighting for a Contract!

The Union and the Company have had informal discussions in subcommittee and have been making some progress.

We are still a long way from reaching an agreement, and we need your continued support to get us there!

In Randall Stephenson’s message to the workers this week, he stated that first quarter earnings had a very solid start to the year. Mobile internet, advanced business services and U-verse all continue to grow at a fast clip. We did a good job on cost containment across the business. And as a result, cash flow was strong and our earnings per share were up better than 5 percent.

Our mobile internet momentum continues to be very strong. Our wireline business revenues are moving closer to positive growth. AT&T U-verse has grown to become an $8 billion annualized revenue stream.

He ends his message to you, the workers, thanking you for an excellent first quarter.

You the workers and members of this Union made AT&T the profitable company it is today.

Your hard work and dedication to the business has made this company their excellent first quarter profits!

We are asking the Company to pay us our fair share of the profits! Provide HealthCare that benefits the workers! Stop attacking Employment Security! Treat all workers with respect! As Bill Demers stated to the Company,“Prem Techs are not corporate property”!

It is critical we send AT&T a strong message: We are Sick and Tired of hearing no new progress at the bargaining table! It is up to you to keep the mobilization activities up
